Hola, soy Maricela

I am from the Pacific Northwest with roots in Latin America. My connection to both places deeply influences how I see and capture the world through photography.

Photography has been a passion of mine since I was very young. It started with disposable cameras on our road trips from Washington State to Guadalajara, capturing moments with family I only saw every few years - memories that were truly invaluable. Over time, that passion grew into an exploration of different styles and a deeper understanding of photography as a form of artistic expression.

This is my creative outlet - one that captures and honors connection between people, the land, and the moments that shape us. My work is rooted in love and the quiet moments that remind us where we belong. It would be my pleasure to provide you with meaningful photographs you can look back on and treasure for a lifetime.

My portfolio contains my most recent work with a few sessions that date back to 2010 - wedding of my high school teacher's daughter, 2012 - family visit to Guadalajara, Mexico, and 2015 - my study abroad trip to Chile.
